Between the time that God makes promises to His people and the actual manifestation of them in our lives, there is a measure of space called...time. Time does not ever cease to exist. Even when the circumstances in our lives seems to remain unchanged time is still moving forward. The way we make use of time impacts the direction God's hand will move in our lives.
After the disobedience of Adam in the Old Testament all mankind fell into sin and death was imminent. But God loved us so much, He decided to give His Son who knew no sin as a ransom sacrifice for all who would receive Him. Even though God made a promise to save the whole world in the Old Testament it was to until the New Testament that the promise was manifested.
Between the time of the Old Testament and the New Testament times God did not repent of His decision not to destroy but to save mankind. God did not repent of His decision to save mankind even though man's behavior became increasingly more grievous. God had absolute faith in Himself and total trust in His Word. God had so much faith in His word to perform His perfect will His word came to life and lived among us I His Son.
Faith and doubt cannot operate in the same space; we either believe even if it is the measure of a mustard seed or we doubt and distrust. Faith only operates in belief; faith leaves when distrust is present. Jesus upon entering a certain village promptly left but not before He told the villagers, He could do any great works there because of their disbelief. Having faith means trusting in someone to the point we do not hesitate to invest our confident in what one sys because of who one is. When we have hope the Word of God according to Hebrews says our faith to receive it does not make us ashamed even when we don't see it in the natural. Because our faith is in God and not in people or things we do not loose heart when we speak prior to possessing what we hope for. Faith means we can see what we hope for in the spiritual realm before it materializes in the natural.
Faith is power and the use of power negates faith or the assurance that what we say will happen. With faith we can conquer anything, we can move mountains, break demonic chains, be free from bad habits, change the courses of life, and even change our final destiny. Faith in the power of God Word empowers us to speak to the mountains in our life that we think we cannot tunnel through. Faith is the key to our life's destiny and the central factor that impacts our lives to be pleasing in the sight of God. God has given the believer power to speak as He speaks and commands yet many believers live like un-believers; in fear and doubt.
I love the Book of Isaiah. In it I can see Jesus The Coming Messiah Who the prophets declared to the people yet they would not see Him themselves until His Second Coming. It was the faith of Isaiah in God and in His Word that influenced him to obey God despite the struggles he faced as a prophet of God. Without faith the Hebrew writer tells us, it is impossible to please God. God has always been in search of a people with enough faith in Him, that like Jesus we would obey His every command. If Jesus Who knew no sin had faith to trust God to raise Him from the grips of death on the third day, how can we justify not even having faith the size of a grain of mustard seed?
God was looking for someone in Isiah's time who He could send to declare His love to a lost generation. By faith Isaiah responded, " Here am I, Lord; send me." Mary though a virgin espoused to Joseph, obeyed God to become the mother of Jesus, the Savior of the world. Jesus's faith in God, empowered Him when while in the garden He became overwhelmed and weak. .Faith gave Jesus the power to say "... Not my will, but Thine be done,"
In between the promise and the manifestation we trust God....

a few commas would help while reading this too....
If you are thinking "who does she thinks she is" please forgive me... I realize that what you meant in each case is obvious... and right on, just encouraging you with the same thing I need, (discipline to proofread.)
There are so many things I can't understand yet with the punctuation and capitalization,etc. I welcome your help on any of my writings. Blessings and Thank You for your article on Faith. It was beautiful.
