As Elijah sat beside the brook, Cherith, the Lord spoke to him. "There will be a drought and you will be fed by ravens."
The brook had provided Elijah with water but soon the drought dried it up. Ravens brought meat and bread to Elijah. The Lord instructed him to go to Zarephath. As he was walking along, he saw a widow gathering a few sticks. He asked her for bread. She replied, "I have no bread. I have only a little flour and oil."
She said, "I will prepare some cakes for myself and my son. We will eat and die."
"Don't be afraid. The flour will never be exhausted nor will the jar of oil become empty until it rain," replied Elijah.
The widow carefully listened to his words and prepared the cakes. Elijah ate the first one and after he finished, she and her son ate. Until the rains came, the flour was never exhausted nor the jar of oil empty.
Later, the widow's son became ill and died. She thought that his death was judgment for her sins. Elijah prayed and God returned life to her son.
At the end of Elijah's life, God took him to heaven in a whirlwind of fire. Just as God promised Elijah that the flour would never be exhausted nor the oil emptied, God's amazing love and grace continues today. His love and grace are endless because He is eternal. All we have to do is partake by faith in His promise of salvation through Jesus.

Can we use the word endless with love, mercy or grace when refering to Judas, or the Pharoah of Moses' time, or the Herod who killed the children. God's love, mercy and grace ended at their death and what the character of God that was left was his justice.
God's love for us remains in effect depending on our love (and obedience) for him.
Keep it up!
