When we are tempted to harshly judge each other, there is no more truer, nobler or greater self-given, Christ encouraged examination than to examine the fragility of our own carnal selfish hearts to see how we can love each other better than we do ourselves. And may our desire for God to pursue us with His precious examinations help us to pray, search me oh God and know my heart to see if there is any obvious wickedness within me that I need to genuinely confess, repent and turn away from. Then help us to realize we have no righteousness of our own, but our blood bought, victorious righteousness is found in Christ Jesus alone!
When we are tempted to emotionally condemn one another and create for them a religious Pharisaical burden that is too heavy a load for anyone to carry alone, there is no more truer, nobler, or greater self-given, Christ encouraged examination than to examine our own hearts to see how we can esteem each other better than our
selves and pray, search me oh God and know my heart to see if there is any subtle self-respecting wickedness within me that I need to humbly confess, repent, and turn away from. Then help us to realize we have no righteousness of our own. but our blood bought, victorious righteousness is found in Christ Jesus alone!
When we are tempted to choose a perception about ourselves that make ourselves look better and everyone else look worse so that we can benefit ourselves rather than looking out for the interests of each other, there is no more truer, nobler, or greater self-given, Christ encouraged examination than to examine our own hearts before the Lord and pray, search me oh God and know my heart to see if there is any hidden wickedness within me that I need to honestly confess, repent, and turn away from. Then help us to realize we have no righteousness of our own, but our blood bought, victorious righteousness is found in Christ Jesus alone!
