TITLE: The Color's of God | Previous Challenge Entry

of color and beauty.
Fly - fishing green,
peaceful, serene.
Purple-like majesty
tucked under
mountains.
Deer and gazelle
drinking from fountains.
Soft, gentle, rainbows
follow God's
lightning-streaked-skies.
God's special
colors
as the earth
washes, then dries.
We see
the symmetry
and beauty
of His
precious rocks
and His gems.
They sparkle
with color
as they
tell the story
of Him.
He's so deep,
so precious,
filled
with love
joy and peace.
Yet, we
only get glimpses
and splashes
of these.
When we see
some of God's
colors --
His wildlife
roaming the earth,
we get a sense
of His character;
a sense of His worth.
I love
when the sun
lies down its
golden head --
and puts its
weary self to bed.
The face of the sky
is gold
at the start.
It slowly turns pink,
then, warms up its heart.
My eyes
start to blink
as I'm mesmerized
by this beautiful
sight.
Before I know it,
the sky
is a blaze
of purple--red
as the day
quickly becomes
night.
My favorite place
to be in all of
God's world
is the beach
with all
of her colors
unfurled.
The peace and the quiet
amidst the roar
of the waves
is enhanced by the
splashes of color
on the water itself.
For there lying
on top of the sand
next to the rocks
and right by the kelp
are God's awesome
seashells.
Some colors
are muted,
and can barely
be seen.
God's magenta's
purples, grays,
and His greens.
The splashes
of these colors
speak of His
great white light.
They tell of a power
that is far above me,
one that I long to touch
and to see.
I can hardly
wait to be raptured
home
in the twinkling
of an eye;
a major
news splash
as I quickly
pass by.
I will be
eternally home
where seven flashes
of color
stand solid
and upright.
They will
dance in praise
around the Father's throne
Royal and Bright.
(God's Word Translation) Revelation 4:2-6 "Instantly, I came under the Spirit's power, I saw a throne in heaven and someone was sitting on it. The one sitting there looked liked gray quartz and red quartz. There was a rainbow around the throne which looked like an emerald. Around that throne were 24 other thrones, and on these thrones sat 24 leaders wearing white clothes. They had gold crowns on their heads. Lightning noise, and thunder came from the throne. Seven flaming torches were burning in front of the throne. These are the seven spirits of God."
