days, our lives are inundated with
questions. As small children, our
speech is filled with whys. Why do I
have to do that or why can't I have
some candy?
In our teen years, we question
authority and ask why should we attend
college. As young adults, we ask what
career moves we should make. We ask if
we should marry and how many children
should we have and what kind of house
should we live in.
In old age, we ask how long will
our health last, or will we have
enough money to live on, and will we
spend our final days in a nursing home.
Thousands and thousands of
questions engulf our lives but only one
question is really important. That
question is--what will we do with
Jesus?
People are consumed about all
the things happening in their lives
rather than what they need to do with
Jesus. Jesus said, "I am the way, the
truth, and the life. No one comes to
the Father but by Me." Each of us will
stand before God to give an answer.
Jesus is the only important question.
Our very eternity depends on what we
will we do with Jesus.
