TITLE: The Difference , Now That I Know Jesus | Previous Challenge Entry

(Now that I know Jesus)
Jesus,
Has made the difference in my life.
I love Him,
Whom I’ve never seen;
And my love is real;
My love is true,
I thank God, my Father,
For His deliverance –
For, by Jesus, His Son,
He has brought me through.
God’s Spirit
Walks me through His Holy Word,
So that I can see -
The many ways,
Throughout my life,
His heavenly grace has covered me.
His legions of angels all around -
Helped me through dangers,
Seen and unseen,
Bringing me forth –
From darkness to light,
On and on -
Into pastures green.
And, I thank Him so much,
For the gentle way,
By His Spirit,
He pours into my life;
As He leads me by the hand,
That I might be able
To walk with Him
Regardless of what besets
As I journey through this land.
Now, I can hardly read God’s Word
And not search myself within,
As I see Jesus -
All that He endured;
His life, while here on earth,
Because God, His Father,
Ordained
That He would have a human birth.
Temptations abounded -
From without and within
Hurt, pain, betrayal,
From His, chosen, circle of friends.
The difference –
Still, He had no sin.
He had none, while I have many;
But, I have come to know,
That the blood He shed cleanses -
Washes my sin away;
And, each time it appears
As if I never had any.
I have all these things
Stored in my heart;
God’s Spirit helps me keep them alive.
For I now see Jesus,
My Savior,
With both heart and mind
I know that I’ll never
Be the same again
Not, like I was before -
Continuing to grow,
Enabled, by His Spirit,
To understand -
My precious Lord’s journey,
Here, as a man.

The biggest weakness I see in your lovely piece is that you really missed the topic, I saw a bit of a search in it but no trace of an internet log.
You have a wonderful sense of rhythm and your words flow effortlessly. This is a beautiful and thought- provoking piece.
I am thinking you "were showing an actual blog" without mentioning the subject. I think it was a good way of sharing a powerful message, while blogging and staying on topic.
