With thousands of words inside her.
She got busy with life,
Being a mom and wife,
One day she thought, “Ohhh…FaithWriters!”
She joined in two-thousand three.
Entered every Challenge with glee.
She loved the critique
It improved her technique
She began on her writing spree.
Every thought was on a new story.
Each occurrence was her inventory.
Triumphs or trials
Whimpers or smiles
Every event would bring her Lord glory.
She had written a mountain of tales.
Some she picked to send in the mail.
All were returned
Some said, “Unconcerned”.
She felt the Lord wanted her to prevail.
She kept writing, though she was worn out.
Her mind was filled with misgiving and doubt.
“Am I wasting my time?”
“Seems I can’t write or rhyme.”
So, she put down her pencil to pout.
Then, something happened she didn’t expect.
Seems FaithWriters had a new project.
She would be in two books.
The Ezine would take a look.
Why do we doubt, when God’s timing is perfect?
So, you could say this is sort of a thank you.
It’s been seven years, so it’s overdue.
I’m back to stay.
Without further delay.
This almost feels like a writer’s debut!
