But can’t figure out why
Whenever she looks in the mirror
All she wants to do is cry
Wiping away her tears
She discovers something heavy
Emotional scars, years of bad memories
More baggage than she can carry
She has a broken heart
From all the past pain
A few episodes of rejection
From all her relationships in vain
Plenty of humiliation
Which is no surprise
Because deep within is also betrayal
Resulting from too many lies
Her poor soul is suffocating
Hidden underneath all that baggage
Her life has no room for improvement
Or to recover from the damage
She screams, “Please clean out my house!”
A new woman, He creates
Releasing her burdensome baggage
To the One above who awaits
No longer does she feel weary
No longer does she feel afraid
This woman deserves a new life
For her price was already paid
