Ruth thought of doing just that as she passed along the snow white corridor.
But then she saw Them. And glory took on a whole new meaning.
For just ahead, seated in a leaning forward position the Father waited. And Jesus stood to His right.
¡°No wonder Jesus is called the Darling of Heaven¡±, Ruth whispered in awe.
How could this be? She looked around. Thoughts originated from the centre of her being rather than her head, and at a rate she had not known before, so perhaps she only contemplated looking around. Why would she ever take her eyes off God anyway?
That thought lit out of her like a diamond caught in a sunbeam.
¡°Lord everything is very¡white. And You are so beautiful.¡± It wasn¡¯t much to say, but she was struggling with an inept mind.
The Father threw back His head and laughed making Ruth¡¯s eyes grow large.
Never had she seen such delight and certainly never over something she said. Longing for more of Him filled empty pools in her heart.
He beckoned by reaching out, but she shook her head. A barrier stood between them.
¡°Lord¡I can¡¯t. I can¡¯t come to You. You know that. You are so pure.¡±
The Father¡¯s slight incline allowed Ruth His agreement. Recognition jarred like loud discordant notes in a symphony. The conductor¡¯s baton had struck the podium. Something was off.
Ruth waited as the Father turned to His Son and something passed between. Jesus nodded. And again a radiant smile rested on Ruth.
¡°My Son knows you Ruth. Come in¡±.
The barrier, to be understood later as the lack of knowledge of imputed righteousness, disappeared. She found herself clothed in the whitest garments she had ever seen.
¡°May I dance Lord?¡± Already her feet had begun to lead. She danced and twirled and laughed. Ruth knew that the Father laughed too and that Jesus¡ she stopped dancing to gaze at His face.
¡°Do You like my white dress Jesus?¡± He did not say much this Lord Jesus. But It didn¡¯t matter. His face was intense with love.
¡°Thank You my Saviour.¡± She emphasised each syllable.
¡°How can this be so white Lord?¡±
The Father spoke. ¡°White, pure white is a perfect balance of colour. Everything about the Godhead is perfectly balanced. Your salvation is perfectly balanced.¡±
She lowered her head as though seeing it for the first time. Then she remembered.
¡°Lord, what about my husband?¡±
Again something passed between the Father and the Son although for the life of her Ruth could not hear or see any indication of speech.
She stood perfectly still, watching until the Father indicated He needed her to draw nearer. Ruth slid in like a baseball home runner and landed on her knees before Him. This time to her triple delight He laughed before placing His hand on her head.
Ruth grew very sober. Was she selfish? Should she have cried out in greater intercession, ¡°Lord save him.¡± What would happen now? Was it too late?
But the burden, the insistent ache to know of her mate¡¯s eternal safety was gone. Finally she understood it had been cast upon the Lord and was not her responsibility. The Father had given her husband to the Son. Jesus¡¯ Spirit was faithful.

Coffee time! Coffee TIME! COFFEE ¨CEE TIME! Ruth¡¯s alarm escalated in volume and urgency and she rolled over to stare with one eye into its electronic face. Four-thirty. Exactly as she¡¯d instructed it the night before.
A soft snore from beside her meant that her husband slept on. She smiled. This was good. She needed time alone with the Lord. Somewhere amongst this morning¡¯s conversation she would plea for her husband¡¯s salvation. Again. For weeks now the Spirit had impressed on her that if she drew near to Him He would draw near to her (James4:8) and rising early to be with Him had become the beam on which her day hung.
She reached for her white fluffy dressing gown and froze.
¡°White¡±, she whispered.
¡°White is a perfect balance of¡¡±
Ruth gawped. ¡°Lord You¡ You¡¯ve answered my prayer and instructed me in the night."
¡°Eye has not seen Beloved Ruth. Draw nigh. About white! You have never asked me to explain Revelation 2:17? (746 words)

"The barrier, to be understood later as the lack of knowledge of imputed righteousness, disappeared."
And,
"His face was intense with love."
If we just understood these facts, we would live more boldly and with a lot less anxiety in our lives. God bless you!
