When I tell someone I was blacker then black and filled to the very top of my being with sin they give me a strange look. I guess they are seeing me now after my heart felt confession to God and accepting the forgiveness of my sins through the blood of Christ. What does it mean to be blacker then black? Black to me is sin but blacker then black is pure unadulterated evil and all thanks to God He rescued me from the cesspool of sin.
It is truly sad that not all of God’s children will spend eternity in heaven. It truly grieves God that His children by their own choice will spend eternity in hell with Satan and all those fallen angels. God’s Holy Word says it far better then I ever could. “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” I Corinthians 1:18
What fascinates me is how some respond to the mention of the color black. Like the color blue, black is given a bad rap. Why? That truly is a good question and only man because of his fallen nature tends to assign such stigma to certain words like black and blue for example.
If truth be told all the colors of the rainbow came from God the Father. He is the creator of all things and He took nothing and made something out of nothing. He created every color known to man. Look at the birds for example. Red birds, (Cardinals) blue birds, (Blue Bunting) yellow birds, (Canaries) green birds, (Humming birds) brown birds, (Sparrows) black birds (Crows) just to name a few and then look at the human race. There are so many different colors within the human race that it truly gives me pause.
When I run into open cabinet doors and bruise my legs or arms I say that I am black and blue. Life upon this earth is fascinating and I know God has a beautiful sense of humor because of what I say about the colors He created. I equate the colors of the rainbow with so many different happenings in life and black is one of those colors. All I can say about God’s colors is, “To Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.” II Timothy 4:18B

This seems to lack focus...perhaps expanding on the first part (your testimony) or the second (thoughts on the word black and its spiritual applications) would be better?
Wonderful title...keep writing!
