In the beginning the Word was….
Lord, your plans are perfect,
You have thoroughly thought them through.
Your life-giving breath creates in us our very existence.
Your unending grace sustains and protects us as children.
Your faithfulness surrounds us always.
Your watchful eyes keep us from wandering from your care.
Your holiness exposes our prideful hearts.
Your righteousness reveals our sinful nature.
Your Holy Spirit draws us to your side.
Your undying love gives us new life when we call upon your Name.
Then, your Victory redeems our lives…..
Life takes on a whole new meaning.
Our joy is made complete in knowing you.
You rejoice over us with singing.
Your banner over us is Love.
You come to our side when we call upon your Name.
You arm our minds with strength from Your Word.
Your revelations give us wisdom to overcome our adversaries.
You send the angels to fight our battles for us.
You teach us to run our race with patience.
You refresh our souls when we become weary.
Your strength covers all our weaknesses.
You cause us to rise up on wings and soar like the eagles.
Your peace quiets the fears that torment us.
Your marvelous light shines brightly and chases away all darkness.
Your holiness exchanges beauty for our ashes.
You clothe us with garments of praise.
Your goodness and mercy cover us everywhere we go.
Your loving-kindness leads us into Life Everlasting.
Your Love Endures Forever.
