Some use it to travel this world over,
From Kenya on to the cliffs of Dover
This handy little summary we all use
Transporting ourselves leaving clues
To destinations and exotic imports
Of affinities, memory now distorts.
Documentation of a voyagers life,
Void of exhilaration, void of strife.
Tucked away in seclusion for a time
When boredom urges exploit so sublime.
Yet what of your passport to eternity
Is it an affirmation or is it migratory?
Salvation is the primary destination,
Freedom is the principal consolation.
Never more than a hair breathe away,
Simply bend your knees and start to pray
A door begins to open with His grace
He escorts you to your mandated place
Prepared in advance on the sole chance
You’d seek His face and His benevolence.
This passport isn’t paper it’s flesh ‘n blood.
Shed for your redemption via mercy’s flood.
The journey is eternal~right to Heavens gate
A passport of salvation in an everlasting state.
