Very nice devotional! Love the touching scene at the beginning and end with the mom and child. You have focused on the hope and joy, and not condemnation, of those who celebrate all aspects of Christmas in this entry.
Cute story with a good message. :)

Well thought out and impressive devotional. I liked how you tied in the conversation between mother and son at the beginning and the end.

I really like the structure of this: story, devotion, story. Very effective.

I really like the structure as well. Good job.
Lovely devotional. I like the idea of Santa being the fun. Your Scripture choices show Jesus is the real joy and the one who truly loves us.
Very good! The bookend scenes between mom and son give the meat in the middle a lightness. Her explanation to him was fabulous. Your writing is great - just watch your punctuation on dialog. The son's question should have a "?" at the end instead of a comma, like this: “Mom, is Santa real?” asked my little boy. Minor glitch. Also, since you have her thought in italics, it's not necessary to also say "she thought", and it should also be punctuated with a "?". NICE job on this devotion.
Precious and informative. What a great mix! I relaly enjoyed reading this. Thank you for sharing this one. Well worth the read. :0)
