The season had come in to being. Endless preparations were manifested, and everything was in perfect harmony with the symphony of time. Light shown in the darkness illuminating even to the most precious hidden places. Nothing escapes the pinnacle of life, not even death itself. Silence stretched across the heavens to amplify the groaning desperation of that which was to come forth. The stage is set. The curtain rises. The audience is gripped by uncertainty.
“Look, they are like Us knowing good and evil.”
“Look, they are naked.”
“Look, they strive for position, and will kill for its false majesty.”
“Behold, someone must first shed blood for a formal redemption, and substitute ungodliness for honor. They have taken the gift of fairness and desired gifts of insatiable desires, and that will breed more of the same. They know good and evil, but still choose powers of self. We must send Ourselves to save them from there selves.”
“First send the gift of prophecy, that they may repent by the hearing from one of their own. Then send the gift of sorrow to soften hearts of stone. Now, send gifts of understanding that they may tell others who are likeminded.”
“Nothing seems to work… is it because they are like Us with free choice?”
“We must send the gift of sinless nature in the form of man to prove the gift of life is real. It is not a concept, not an unattainable conscience, not mere whims of sweetness, not just the essence of hope, but hope itself. Send the gift giver Himself.”
“Still, the majority seems to trust not in the gift. They’d rather grope for a toiletry that emits a fragrant odor that is man-made, and not God-breathed. How long must We bear this insolence?"
“We cannot forget that We also send the gift of longsuffering, the gift of grace, the gift of mercy, and the gift of love… it is the gift of God.”
“Let all who receive the gift of life also have the gift of understanding, and send with it the gift of eternity, and give it to those who will not strive to work to earn the gift of salvation.”
“There is a way to pay for a gift freely given in love, and it turns into a most horrible thing.”
“What shall We call that gift?”
“It is not a gift; it is the opposite of a gift which We shall call… religion.”
