He’s there to take you thru
You are never alone
He knows your zone
If you start to fear
Replace it with a cheer
All Praise be to our God
On Satan’s head we will trod
In the midst of your trouble
See your problems turned to rubble
Closer than a brother He will stick
He already knows all of Satan’s tricks
Remind yourself like in Daniel’s time,
Three were accused of a state crime
Tossed in a furnace, they gave Him praise
A fourth man was seen among the blaze
That fourth man still lives to day
Encouraging and helping us along the way
Never late, all for His goodness sake
He knows it’s my soul that is at stake
This may have been a too simple rhyme
For those who look for meter and time
But it’s good to know and learn from best
He inspires and prepares you for the test.
