I liked the idea of a new year being an empty canvas. This was short and sweet. Nicely done.

I too like the idea of the empty canvas and also changing the old blemished canvas with its resentment and guilt awash with the blood of Christ into forgiveness. A new way of looking at the New Year.
Very good analogy. Also, I particularly like your sentence, "Take a breath, pick up your brush and follow the Master who is ready to instruct you."
Isn't it awesome that everyday is a new beginning with Our Lord? I also like your analogy of canvas with new life. How wonderful it is that we have our Master Painter who does the finihing touches. It's not an accident that I just found this inspiring article you wrote. It's also very timely. Sister, God has put you in my canvas to make it into such a beautiful painting. Love, Gloria
correction: i mean "finishing"
