Guided by God's steady hand.
He created a unique role for her.
Then, He shared what He had planned.
God said she would be given a child
To care for day by day.
This child would be a Heavenly loan
And He would guide their way.
A mother received a caring heart
Filled with compassion and kindness.
Wisdom was added and blended in
With a love that would be timeless.
She lovingly uses all these gifts
To nurture, encourage and share.
Each lesson she learns from her Father,
She teaches her children, with care.
At times, she may ignore these gifts
And replace them with some others.
Then, when her focus starts to fade,
She doubts her worth as a mother.
Often, she comes across too strong
At other times, she is weak.
But the gifts that God provided
Are still there, if she will seek.
Each day, God offers another chance
And opportunities to share.
So, Mothers, have faith, be encouraged!
God's heart gifts will always be there.
