That toy became a treasure to him. He played with it so much that after a couple of years one of the arms broke off. Even with a broken arm he continued to play with it. He named it Bingo and the cost was never important because to him it was his most valuable toy. It had so much potential and so many possibilities.
There are many things in life that are costly, many things that we can't comprehend the real cost and the value. They only become evident as time goes on. Jesus died on a cross after living a life of scorn. The cost to him was greater than can be imagined. And the value is even greater than the cost. And all he asks of us is to say, "I want it". He already bought it. I only hope in my own life that I can continue to see the value of his purchase and live with passion for Him.
