Many mountains I have climbed, and walked on rocks galore
With selfishness in my lonely heart
I had made my bed alone
And as I walked the teardrops fell
for I had no place to call home!
I knew that I was sinking fast
My pride was in the way
I needed someone who really cared
To help me through the day.
Then I heard about a Savior
how He came to set me free
He came to seek and save the lost
all because of Calvary.
I gave him all my Selfishness
my burdens I laid down
In turn He gave me victory
He's the dearest friend I've found!
