Cover Your Sin

The pure love of Christ Jesus
Immense charity and Father He pleases
Immense charity that is agape love
From our Father the Lord above
Charity does drive faith and hope
To action helping others to cope
That’s love in its highest form
Love and that’s against the norm

Love of God and neighbor too
Unselfish to help and be true
Using resources, talents and time
Even when poor giving a dime
Jesus showed charity again and again
Love and compassion, service to men
More blessed to give than to receive
Jesus gave all, never to leave

Let Christ Jesus be your example
Charity with faith and hope ample
To show charity to your enemy
With food and water for many
Let faith and hope be motivated
Jesus said you will be hated
Follow Jesus easy it won’t be
To be righteous and not worldly

True charity is done in secret
Then let Lord God reward it
God sees kindness to the poor
Like a loan God repays more
Giving to the poor, giving aid
Creating treasure in heaven is made
When possible, help those in need
Serving others while also sowing seed

Charity the highest form of love
Given men by Lord God above
To make a bond of perfectness
Put on charity seeking righteousness
Charity to know God through love
Charity to see God through love
So have fervent charity to win
Charity covers a multitude of sin

This is a powerful poem. Poetry isn't my favorite genre, but this felt like it flowed nicely and your words touched my heart.
