In awe of the city a beautiful place
With a pure river of water of life
As clear as crystal the water does race
From the throne for the tree of life
On each bank of the river the tree
The tree of life which bears twelve fruit
Fruit yielded every month for all to eat
Healing nations with leaves is from the root
Not Meribah or Massah water from a rock
Where chiding and tempting created strife
But from the throne of God and the Lamb
It’s a pure river of water of life
Flowed from Eden to form four river heads
Today two are clearly seen maybe all four
But the garden which is guarded is hid
And maybe the river which is forevermore
The same river that came out of Eden?
That watered the garden and the trees
The fruit and the herbs for all feeding
And without allergies you will not sneeze
For those that confess their sin to Father
With faith in Christ to live forevermore
A pure river of water of life forever
Trees with twelve fruit heaven for sure
Waters of life or the lake of fire
Hoping you will choose the narrow path
To the river and the Light Lord Jesus
It really is easy to avoid God’s wrath
