Immediately I hear the words from a chorus of a Christian song I know. They ring through my ears as I ponder what they mean to me. “He has no rival; He has no equal”. And then my spirit is jostled from rest as I feel understanding come from within. God is matchless. He is incomparable. His love for me knows no bounds. It cannot be bottled or contained in any sense of the word. His love for me began, before I was even born, as He knit me gently in my mother's womb. Placing me in her care with specific purpose in my life. His love is indescribable.
Yet there are other parts of my creator that I must acknowledge. His justice is also matchless. He is just beyond our human comprehension. He will pay what is owed. When we humble ourselves in His presence, we see that our sin against Him has incurred a debt that must be dealt with. His judgment is incomparable. It is not like anything we know here on earth. At times it may even seem harsh to us. But when we take these truths to heart and trust in Him, we see all things work out justly in the end.
The gospel truth is this. I was born a sinner, with no hope of ever fixing myself. Sin like a virus running through my veins infecting every action and reaction in my life. The bible tells us, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. This unequaled truth gives us hope. What it means is that we do not have to strive to clean up before coming to God. We simply humble ourselves and acknowledge our position before Him. Lord, I am a sinner, in need of a savior. And only you can satisfy the debt that I owe. The gospel is ruddy, it’s hard, and its unique in that it forces me to realize that it was my sin that put Jesus on the cross. It was my brokenness He had to fix. He died for me, before I was even born. His act on the cross penetrating through eternity to right the wrongs of this world. His love so deep, so matchless, that it cannot be contained by something so simple as time.
Specifically, though there was one moment in time where God the Father poured out the wrath that I had earned, on His own son. It is not like the debt just went away. No, it had to be paid. His justice had to be served. It was Jesus that made this matchless sacrifice for us.
When I consider all these things, I am blown away at the love God has for me. At the peerless provision that has been made. At the lengths and the depth’s that God has gone to reconcile not only me, but all humanity back to Himself. The world will tell you, there are many other paths to get to God. But all other systems fail in that they do not have an answer to God’s justice. There is no work on earth I can do to satisfy the debt that was incurred by my sin. That is why it is our faith alone, in Jesus' work alone, that will bring us home to God.

Something that I have learned is try to avoid starting off your piece explaining that you have looked up the topic and that’s what you are now writing about. Omitting this little bit will really polish up your piece.
