God's Wreath of Love

The good Lord blessed me with a wreath —
a wreath I am to share.
He made it with sweet tenderness,
peace, mercy, love, and care.

God asked that I not keep this wreath —
He said, “please share this gift,
as blessings are not meant to keep —
they’re given to uplift.”

I asked the Lord to guide my heart
with whom I was to share,
and bless me with the willingness
to show someone I care.

The Lord placed you upon my heart
to share this gift with you.
Please pass it on to those you meet
so they will be blessed too.

And as this gift does reach the hearts
of those whom you select,
God’s love will be conveyed to them
and have a great affect/effect.

Now watch God’s love begin to grow
in hearts that have received —
this gift of love that’s of the Lord
will never be retrieved.

His love is meant to bless each one —
yes, each and every one.
So when you have the chance to share
go forth — let it be done.
