As soon as I joined the current team, I held on to my witness as a believer. It became so evident to everyone that I am different from others. Though it is a good thing, I witnessed that it irritated everyone else. I got snapped at quite often which I would just patiently endure. After we started our work in this place, the first major support work that we had to do and I was working on all the steps that had to be taken care of. So unexpectedly, an issue occurred and we all were on a call with people trying to figure out what went wrong. A few hours went by in the call while I was continuing to prepare my steps ready for the support work. Around 6 pm, suddenly this thought comes to me which made me think backward and I kind of wondered if a step that I had performed earlier in the day might have caused the issue. I panicked and cried out to God saying, “Lord, please don’t let it be my mistake”. I was desperately hoping that God would make it vanish and that it wouldn’t be my mistake. But God did not do anything.
I went up to my manager and told him that I suspected the issue is caused by a step that I had performed earlier. He did some analysis based on the timeline of when I performed the step and when the issue occurred, and he also concluded that it might have been my mistake. He asked me to handle this by myself and bailed out. I conveyed to my other team members that this could have been my mistake and requested that someone could help me out. But no one helped. I cried out to God for help as I felt extremely fearful of the outcome. I prayerfully joined that meeting and conveyed to them the step that I had performed earlier and they confirmed that it caused the issue. When I anticipated that I was going to be yelled at so badly, they quietly said, “now that we know what caused the issue, let us call it a day”. I couldn’t believe my ears. The rest of the team who joined the call to watch me getting yelled at, could not believe it either. Though God seemed to be quiet earlier, He tied their mouth from yelling after I demonstrated honesty. From then on, I was considered trustworthy and on a few other occasions to prove the same.
We are expected to be the light wherever God has put us.

Perhaps if you relax more with your colleagues you will find them more open to receiving the Word from you.
It would have had even greater impact had your past and present tenses flowed a little more seamlessly.
I am forever struggling with this same problem and find reading it out loud helps me hear where I’ve stepped from the past to the present then back again.
Good choice you've made to be very much on topic.
