TITLE: Living With Fear And Anxiety | Previous Challenge Entry

To help me with my fear of the operation, my read me a book about a girl who had her tonsils taken out. I liked the story, but I was shaking from head to toe. My mother told me not to be afraid. So a week later, my parents took me down to the hospital, and I had a room mate! She was an older girl that to be about 10 or 11.
My room mate, Bula, and I took visits to the children in the pediatric ward. A lot of the children cried "I want my Mommy or my daddy." I did not cry for my parents because I knew that they would be back to pick me up.
The next day I was placed on a gurney to the operating room. I asked when I was going to get my tonsils taken out, and the surgeon or the nurse said, "Now." The next I remember was the doctor pulled out some scissors, and I was given a machine over my mouth to help me get very sleepy.
The next I knew was that my parents were sitting beside me, and my throat had hurt. I asked them constantly,
"Are my tonsils taken out?"
"Yes, Cherrie. Your tonsils are taken out."
I was crying because I was in so much pain. The nurse gave me some ice cream, and it helped to relief the pain. I went home a few days later, and I was in bed, and I slept until my throat was better.
At the age of 14 and 15, there I was in a windowless classroom where history was taught. I was bullied by 2 boys. I felt like I was in the words in hovel where no one would stick for me. My history would not stick up for me. He I should fight my own battles. But guess I forgive the person who bullied me. I am friends with him on face book. His name is Stu. I have been able look the other boy, but I forgive this person, and he said that he was sorry.
