Topic: IMPOSSIBLE (09/05/19)
What is faith? “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1 NKJV).

Now faith is. Faith works only in the now. It is no time-machine. It doesn’t move backward in time and work and it doesn’t go forward and work in the future. It works only in the now. Faith brings substantial evidence of the things we believe for. It produces something real, tangible and evident. The great heroes of faith in the Bible all did exploits and feats beyond their human abilities. We can too with the same element: faith that works in the now and brings substantial evidence of the things we hope for.

Not long ago I was ill and though I believed that Jesus took the stripes on His back for my healing, I was holding it at bay because my faith was not in the now, but it was a hope deferred for some future time. I was trusting Him but not with my whole heart. I was instead leaning to my own understanding. When I finally dropped all of my complaints and just believed He was presently healing me He did just that.

Nothing is impossible with God, but it is our lack of faith or our someday faith that stops the substantial evidence from manifesting. The only impossibility is this:

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6 NKJV).

Good topic. My suggestions are: Start with the second paragraph. That hooks the reader into the story. Then, develop that paragraph. Show the reader how you struggled in your head. Get the reader involved in your emotions. Then, resolve the story by showing how surrender brings true peace ... and healing!

You are correct It is impossible to please God without Faith. Good example.

Wow! Never saw Now faith, in that way. I love it. I think you did a great job!
