My child, I love you, and I’m always listening for your voice. I never get tired of hearing from you. Receive My loving arms wrapping around you so you can feel the warmth of My presence. Believe that I’m not disappointed in you. Stop trying to analyze everything. Sense the leading of My Spirit in a new way.
“That is a battle due to what I’ve been through in my life. I know now that my whole worldview was warped by my upbringing due to the limitations of my parents. I probably have the record in the Guinness Book of World Records for defense mechanisms in order to survive.”
You’re actually tied for first, and I’m so sorry for all your suffering. Trust Me for deeper healing. The destructive images and beliefs that were ingrained in your memory have nothing to do with your worth. Invite Me on your healing journey where I am your bodyguard and your counselor. You don’t have to fear memories any longer. Renounce their power over you. I paid the price for your mental and emotional freedom. Live with greater purpose that is a gift from Me.
“Lord, I have tried, and I’m exhausted and discouraged from the anguish. I know Your promises are true, but I want to experience freedom more powerfully than ever before. I want to experience the deeper level of peace that You promise.”
You are on the right path. Picture being a marathon runner who fights through the pain since his mind has been pre-set to finish. Trust Me as Lord of your mind to enable you to finish the race well. No obstacle can stop you. Remember how I’ve always been faithful to you, and trust in My faithfulness more deeply.
“What about the condemnation I still feel? The enemy taunts me with the nagging reminders of past failures. Like jabs to my brain, they trigger an onslaught of unrelenting attacks to any moments of peace.”
The enemy is the father of all lies, and he is a master at tempting you to replay condemning events from the past. Keep choosing forgiveness for every person and every hurtful event from the past. Give every debt to Me and mark it as paid in full. Receive My grace to forgive yourself and everyone else. See yourself as needing My grace as much as anyone else. Also, learn to feel loved more deeply. I love you as much as anyone else. Your ability to receive love has been hampered by your experiences. Keep opening your heart to My healing love through healthy relationships also. At the same time, guard your heart carefully against destructive relationships and influences.
“Thank You for peeling away the layers so I can feel more deeply. I trust You as the perfect counselor, who can accomplish this ongoing miracle. Thank You for every step of healing, and I thank You in advance for the complete healing that You will fulfill. I receive Your promise that You will fully accomplish the work that You have begun in me.”

I know from experience that this is a few year's worth of entries, or perhaps an annual entry as we revisit the old messages. But I love seeing the healing in this story.
