when going on a trip,
you may have much or little
depending on how much you can fit.
A portable part of any army
as it moves from place to place,
baggage to help win a war
in a battle or arms race.
A colloquial name for a pert
and impudent young woman,
who is someone not well liked,
she is called a baggage
We can have so much baggage
when we cling to outdated ideas,
refusing to be up to date,
burdened by our many fears.
We can have too much baggage
and activities in our lives,
and memories and emotions
which are not very wise.
Jesus told his disciples
to travel lightly when
witnessing not to have too much
luggage to hinder them.
Jesus said "my burden is light,
lay your cares upon me,
and you will find your burden,
is lighter you will see."
