slander that should not be viewed?
Stop the evil in its tracks,
and it will not be renewed
To spoil another's reputation
shows lack of love and motivation,
shows we don't care what others think,
or even their adulation.
A wrong word cannot be recalled,
it spreads around the world,
passing on its evil way,
like a flag in the wind unfurled.
,
A man's good name is important,
not to be spoiled by wrong speech,
or to the little children teach,
we know not how far it will reach.
A little lie, a little slur
it gathers like a burr
till it is out of control,
whatever you may infer.
Malice is in the list of sins
the Holy Bible tells.
If we keep away from it
our lives will go so well.
Do animals their victims nab
when filled with malice within?
I think it more a human sin
when their victims they bin.
Man with malicious aforethought
stalks another man,
this is how it has been since
Cain and Abel began.
