Life is a challenge
to look at each day,
as an opportunity to
help others on their way..

To make the most of
each moment of time,
even if it seems to
make no sense or rhyme.

Athletes work hard
to achieve their success.
they spend long hours,
and give of their best.

To challenge a jury
their ability to judge fair,
is part of the judicial system,
in court or on the air.

We can make demands
on others life skills,
wanting to make them
feel either good or ill.

A sentry salt says "halt!
Who goes there?"
To keep our military
installations safe and fair..

We may not be eligible
for the job we desire,
we can be challenged
to prove we can aspire.

In days of old we are told,
knights wrestled and fought
to prove who was best,
and did what they aught.

David killed the giant
with a stone in a sling,
because God was with him,
victory it did bring.
