which made sickness unfold.
Now it means to relax and
take time out on holiday sand.
A chill in the weather
means get out your woolies,
put away your frillies;
the opposite of sun and relax.
Word meanings change station
in every generation;
the old time slang way,
is not understood today.
Our young people chill out
while their grandparents stout,
hug their rugs and shiver,
whatever the weather.
The chill of an unfriendly face,
making you feel a disgrace;
the emotional chill of something said,
even if it is only in your head.
The emotional chill of rejection,
you hadn't reached perfection;
feeling alone in a world uncaring,
for life is so big and scaring.
But God knows and cares.
He will always be there;
you can chill out and relax,
for he will be with you to the max.
