for this term I had never in front me.
I was stumped to the bone on discovery.
Didn’t know how I’d drum up a summary.
Then I thought, “What a bucket of fun it’d be
to discuss it with utter un-drudgery!"
No one’s immune to skulduggery;
not the elder, the bloke, or the wanna-be.
It’s like lying and hate and adultery;
it can slip into play 'cause it's buttery.
The devil will never stop bugging thee
to deceive or mistreat someone cunningly.
Some people partake in the thuggery,
and others get played like they’re strummery.
Some people get hurt more than others see,
but we all can get scathed by the cutlery.
Christ is the road to recovery.
He’s an expert in spiritual plumbery.
We can call out his name in the scullery,
and he’ll save us from demons and gunnery.
We can pray in the midst of a nunnery,
or bow down and repent in the shrubbery.
He will come and abide in us lovingly,
and eliminate pride and skulduggery.
