I Am The Way
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
Interstate 10 is the only super highway that connects Alabama with Jacksonville, Florida because it is a easterly and westerly route. Interstate 75, however connects Miami with several points north. If you travel that Interstate you will never go from Alabama to the east coast of Florida.
Now I don’t know of anyone that fusses because it’s necessary to use Interstate 10, when traveling from Alabama to Jacksonville, Florida. Yet many fuss and some even get furious if you say that Jesus is the only way to God the Father. They have never seriously studied Jesus’ life. In addition, most of them have never studied the Old Testament and discovered that many indicators point to the birth of the Messiah.
It’s been my experience that every person is met with the responsibility to decide whether Jesus is truth or fiction. Maybe that’s why so many struggle with it. There is no option. You either believe or reject this simple truth.
Much of the refusal to accept Jesus’ words as true come from information fed to them since their childhood. It has been documented that, in some countries, children are taught that Jesus and those that believe in Him are enemies. Such belief, therefore, would be harmful. It’s a bald face lie, of course.
I hope you are like me and believe that Jesus is the only way to God. It’s such a relief to know this. There is no need now to wrack the brain to find the way. It has been provided for us.
