relationship with Jesus
was a faith motel
You see the light
from afar with
it’s radiant glow
You feel a peace
you have never felt
as you draw closer
Long line of
people checking into
this incredible place
It’s not fancy
yet it has warmth
the world cannot give
You can sense
love serenity and
a sense you are home
There are people
from all cultures
and situations in life
People who are homeless
People who are rich
People with disabilities
They welcome you
and invite you to
come in
There is much
prayer and music
Then you see a special table
The light surrounding
The table draws you near
You see people singing a document
When you ask
what this document is
They explain
This is the ministry
We have been called
To bring Jesus’s compassion
Then you wonder
Who is Jesus?
You have heard his name before
You travel a path
and you see a
man praying and petting sheep
Who is this man!
You feel such a
incredible pull to join him
He turns to you
with a smile which
touches your heart and warms your soul
He calls your name
as if he has known
you forever
He puts his
hand on your shoulder
“I knew you would come.
I invite you to
check in to this
hotel of faith
Much is asked
but much is given
You are beloved child
Follow me and
I will give you rest
and eternal love”
After this encounter
you know your life
will never be the same
You go to the front
desk with much
Joy and sign into the hotel of Faith
