One day Satan comes to the throne of God to accuse Christians, and he is especially bold and arrogant. “I am no longer in hiding or secretive. Every day I have a ticker tape parade down main street America. I ask those wimpy Christians, ‘What are you going to do about it? You won’t fight. You are too afraid of being labeled politically incorrect. I surely outwitted you when I dreamed that one up. And you think you are so spiritual. Blinded and comfortable are what you are.’ Now my army, God, that’s a different story.”
He addresses God even more confidently, “My aggressive army is incredibly wicked and their minds are continually on evil. Their push for power has come to shove. Guess who is being shoved? It is those spineless Christians who are busy living in ease, enjoying the so called good life. They are determined not to suffer for their cause. While they have been sleeping, we’ve crept in and tied them up, and they aren’t even aware of it. We have stalked our prey virtually unseen.”
Immediately God speaks, “That’s what you think, devil. I am about to awaken a sleeping giant. Their weapons of mass destruction are powerful. They are equipped with a two edged sword, My word, and an atomic bomb, prayer. In comparison, your artillery is comprised of mere pop guns. Already the Holy Spirit is stirring countless, beleaguered warriors and readying them for battle. They are coming to realize that they have given up too much ground, and it is time to take it back. They are about to become in the highest, truest sense of the term, soldiers. I will organize and equip my troops, and send them to the front where they will be unbeatable. You will sustain losses which you can ill afford and be so crippled that you cannot resume your offensive.”
Satan knows he will have to retreat when this occurs so he determines to do as much damage as he can, while he can. He resolves to use what he considers to be his most dynamic assault weapon, discouragement. He reasons, I will wound their spirits, and they will disappear from the scene of action. His strategy is to cause them to recognize the heavy losses they have endured, oppressing them mentally until they are exhausted. He thinks to himself, I will be swift and terrible in my campaign by exploiting fear. I will make them believe their Commander in Chief is uncaring and has abandoned them, and they are in this war all alone.
God says, “I know what you are thinking. It will not work. My soldiers have an undying devotion to Me, and they know how you operate. Your constant hammering has only caused them to dig in deeper. Go ahead. Take your best shot. I have trained mighty warriors, mighty in spirit and mighty in deed. They eat My word when they get discouraged and are immediately refreshed.”
Satan says, “Aha, I will bury them under a load of persecution. I will accuse Christians of being hate mongers, not tolerant of anyone’s rights. The term, Christian, will become as mud in the world’s foggy eyes. Cascading allegations from all forms of the media will portray them as Bible thumpers attempting to take away society’s freedoms and force others to have their point of view. They will be subjected to seething criticism and ridicule.”
“Forget it, Satan. You think your numbers are greatly superior to ours, and it is a lie. Christians know they will face persecution. They will still overcome. This is a soldier’s life. They are not afraid to fight for the cause for which they are engaged, and they will endure for as long as they must. However, it will not be long, and you know this. It is why you are unleashing all hell on earth. Your time is limited, and your defeat is certain. You know the end of the story as well as my soldiers.”
Trembling at the thunderous voice of God, Satan crouches off. In the background he hears the distinctive roar of heavy reinforcements marching in unison and accumulating against him. They are reciting their battle hymn, “Onward Christian Soldiers.” He knows that the most remarkable battle of all time is on the horizon.
“For the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.” (Revelation 12:10) KJV

Make sure you use hyphens for words like commander-in-chief, two-edged sword, and ticker-tape parade. You also may want to put thoughts in italics so it stands out to the reader.
I liked how you presented the conflict right away. It instantly drew me in. You built the suspense, and then concluded it in a great way. The only thing I didn't think the ending needed was the words "Onward Christian Soldiers" because you did a great job of writing on topic. If you'd left that part off, I still would have had a clear idea of what the topic was because you showcased it throughout the entire story. It was fresh and interesting.
