I love the living history farms and villages. What a treat to read about this one! You've captured it well (and both the human and feline caretakers). This is great!
This is really nice. I felt like you took me back in time. My daughter spent a semester in Ireland last year and had a chance to tour Northern Ireland as well. I can see by your words why she was so enchanted with the country. I love the ending.

This is fantastic! I really enjoyed this piece and was transported. Two lines I particularly loved were about the 'delicious jars of temptations' and 'sparks fly like fireflies extinguished with a complaining hiss.'
Really good imagery, all my senses used.

Oh, I would like to tour this place someday! I visited Northern Ireland three years ago and hope to go back again someday. You have piqued my interest in this living history museum and I will have to look it up on the internet. I appreciated your engaging descriptions and your clever ending.
