If I died today,
What would they say?
Should They remember me,
Each passing day?

If I died today,
What would they say?
Would they know
That my love remains,
Etched within my
My heart of hearts?

For each dear soul who
Became my life,
Would they know
How deep? How wide,
Of all my love I held inside?

Did I express,
My very best,
To let know them know
How I was blessed,
Simply to be
with them?

If I died today then,
Would peace remain
Among the people
I embraced?

Would words be spoken
Of my fate,
in knowing I was a day too late?

Or did I take the time to pray,
say the words I'd longed to say,
To those who took my breath away,
In little things, in many ways?

For each new day is,
Another way
To appreciate,
That love at stake,
In taking a chance,
Before it's too late.

For love is not to
Be locked away,
In your heart,
That you'd never say,
Who truly matters much.

For if I died today,
Would it be such,
That at least one
Life could have been
Touched,
By all the treasures
I have held within,
That I outpoured
Through life,
as a blessing?

For if you died,
What would they say?
Would it be that grace
Remains?
Could it be now here
in this Place,
that through life,
Your love,
They'd know
Christ's
Embrace?
