Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. (Genesis 2:7) Then Adam sinned by letting Eve eat the fruit of forbidden tree. Then all humans would receive that damaged human nature at their birth caused by Adam's sin.

At a time after this fall of man God gave a promise. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. Ezekiel (36:26-27)

Then Jesus, just as He breathed into the nostrils of Adam, says to his Apostles, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you. And with that He breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.“ (John 20:21-22) As you received the damaged nature from Adam at birth you can also receive this new undamaged nature.

What is the purpose or advantage of this new spirit? You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you. (Romans 8:10-11)

How do you get this new spirit? Ask Jesus to be your Savior?

A good article. I wonder about the question mark after the last statement, or, I presume that it should be a statement and not a question.

I like your title! It really sums up your message. To me it felt like most of the article was just quoting scripture. To help someone who may not know Christ or even those who do, I'd encourage you to explore these scriptures more and tell us how they have had an impact on your life or on the history of the world. Just expand it a bit more to make me stop and think. I can tell these verses have impacted you and that you have a calling to share the Word with others.
