Topic: Flowers (10/03/05)
"Isn't that the most beautiful flower you have ever seen," My aunt would always say. She loved the flower, no matter what plant it belonged to.
They speak their own language, but not surprising, a language we can understand.
They are beauty and love. They are caring and sharing. They are support and relief. They are simply a gift.
They are a free gift from God. I don't think He has made one single flower that is not a joy to look upon. Even a cactus can produce the most amazing blossom.
Flowers brighten a room or a gloomy back yard. The express appreciation, sorrow, love, kindness and friendship.
When God made flowers he did it so we would always have something bright and cheery to remind us that this world is not all bad, and the thing that he has provided for pleasure are truly free. Like the flowers. Stop and give them a smell and long look. Their beauty is unquestionably from God. And anything given by God, is an amazing thing.

Yes, my friend a "Cactus Plant" will produce one of the amazing, finest and beautiful blossoms ever seen because 'every good and perfect gift comes from the Father of Heavenly Lights' . Your article is very descriptive and very good - well done!!

Very nice object lesson. If you ever decide to expand it, you might want to go into more detail on your aunt's personality, even make this a story about her. Thanks for sharing.

This article reminds me of the violet morning glories that are wending their way up a wooden stand I placed in my yard. Most see them as bothersome weeds, but I just gave them a place to flourish that didn't include choking the life out of my other plants, and they are the most beautiful thing to see when I get home in the evening! Very thought-provoking piece.
