For all whom our Lord will call to life
Of the many who will hear His voice
Those who understand his spoken word
Who will In their lives make the right choice

For a short time after His ascension
When the disciples did gather and pray
Waiting for the the Promised spirit of their Lord
To guide them in God’s most revealing ways

A miracle did happen for many in the world to see
For a message was delivered deep into their hearts
And as the veil of understanding languages was lifted
True acceptance in their spirits would begin to start

For as the disciples were preaching to the masses
Each in their own language began to understand
That something fantastic at that moment was happening
Being directed by the Our sweet Saviors hand

And what was spoken in the past by the prophet Joel
Became true to the most devout of Jews and others that day
For everyone heard the clear spoken message of God’s Spirit
Leaving many speechless as to what their tongues might say

For though they were from many countries far and wide
Faraway places each having a language all their own
The promised Spirit of God did open their hearts
Allowing the spoken words of the disciples to find new homes

For as many in the mass crowd that was called by the Spirit that day
Those who hungrily embraced the message they heard so true
Chose repentance and were baptized with new water
And did begin the new life which that day they did choose

For today was a new beginning for a sinful world
That for many centuries it had yearned to see come
That day of the promised message being received by many
From God’s One and Only beloved risen Son

And even now as each day does pass in our lives
As our beloved site is read around the world
People are receiving His holy message in their own languages
Treasuring its words like the most valued of pearls.
