Topic: Luggage (08/15/05)
L - Let go of your baggage, give them all to God,

U - Unveil your mask, and search your heart,

G - Get on your knees, pray till you drop,

G - Give all your worries and cares to God.

A - Absolute surrender, a life of trust,

G - God values obedience, a faithful life,

E - Everlasting life is your reward.

Whatever luggage or baggage you're carrying right now,
whether they are insecurities, fears, worries, anger
and doubt, surrender them all to God. You do not need
to carry them all alone.

"Casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for
you" ( 1 Peter 5:7 NASB).

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I
will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn
from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you
will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and
my burden is light." ( Matthew 11:28-30 ).


Footnote: This was written after a heartfelt prayer to
God. "Lord, I don't know what to write. I am not
hoping to win this contest. I just want to glorify
You. And may those who read this be blessed and
glorify You as well! In Jesus name, Amen. "

Unveiling our 'masks', surrendering, humble prayer, being obedient to God ... you've captured what we need to do to 'let go' so that God can work in our lives. I believe God answered your prayer by giving you the words that do glorfy His name as they help others! Thank you!
