Roads ice over
Snowflakes drift down
On winter’s watch
God’s arctic creatures
In white wooly coats
Are camouflaged and safe
On winter’s watch
Big furry bears
Lay still in hidden dens
They're all sleepy and sluggish
On winter’s watch
Geese, they fly south
Grouse, they snow roost
Horned owls, they hoot
On winter’s watch
Polar bears go swimming
Penguins go sliding
Seals go a diving
On winter’s watch
Frosty northern airs
Come blowing in
Refresh the restless of souls
On winter’s watch
Man made snowmen
Hanging ice crystals
Falling snowflakes
On winter’s watch
Snowy hurricanes
Blow on mountaintops
Make their wooly blankets
On winter’s watch
Clean and fresh
Brisk and crisp
Frosty enthusiasm
On winter’s watch
Invisible black ice
Dark frosty nights
Polar northern lights
On winter’s watch
Habits change from
Hyper to forty winks
Animal begin their hibernations
On winter’s watch
Green has turned white
Their roots are now sleeping
They will not rise up, not
On winter’s watch
Every time, God is good
Every season, He is great
Let us thank Him most especially
