The winter days are over. Gone are the gray skies. The snow is gone. Gone are the cold blustery days. You get spring fever. You can not wait for the flowers to grace the fields in an array of dazzling and bright colors. You anxiously await the birth of new leaves on the trees. You long to hear the birds singing their praises. Everywhere you look, the earth is coming back to life showing God’s majesty, God’s glory, and God’s beauty.
How can one not see the power of God in spring? You see flowers in all shapes, colors and sizes. Baby animals are frolicking around the country side. Birds are chirping and playing a game of “tag your it”. The clouds are soft and white encased in a beautiful shade of blue. The sun is shining bright and beautiful. You close you eyes and feel its warmth. Your body tingles as the rays caress your skin. You begin to come alive.
The dark dismal days are gone. You see the rebirth of nature all around you. Can God do this for me? Can He? Suddenly, you feel your spirit come alive. You feel the desire to live again sweltering inside of you. How can this be? How can I feel myself coming alive once again? Could it be? No, there is no way this could be…God? Is this you God bringing me back to life? You close you eyes. You feel the warmth over take you. You feel a peace surround you. You feel joy swelling up within your soul. Yes! You feel the presence of God. Yes, you feel the power of God. Yes, you feel His love. Yes, you feel His glory.
Yes, God brings everything back to life in the spring. Yes, God creates everything new. Yes, God is the Master Creator. Yes, God can bring you, even you back to life. Spring is the beginning of all things new. Spring is the beginning of all things beautiful. Spring is God’s power at its best.
God is the Creator of spring. God is the Creator of all things beautiful. God is the Creator of you.
