P – Is for Patience; a much needed characteristic when waiting in unbearably long lines to pass
through customs to receive an illegible stamp in your passport.
A – Is for Alias, please make sure you are who you are before trying to even use your passport.
S – Is for Security guards with mirrored sunglasses on while intently panning side to side to
catch any unusual activity occurring. Therefore, make sure you are not sweating from the heat
exhaustion that you got from standing in the previous mentioned lines because you’ll
automatically become a suspect.
S – Is for Search of your bags to make sure you are not hiding any undeclared items. Note:
place all personal products and laundry items in one bag to prevent any embarrassing
moments.
P – Is for Please do not pick me for a random strip search!
O – Is for the Oral report you must give: What is the nature of your visit? Business or pleasure?
When will you be returning? Do you know anyone in this country? Which do you prefer,
Coke or Pepsi?
R – Is for Remember your passport is to stay on your person. Do not pack it in your checked
luggage!
T - Is for the Time that is not on your side! Sorry Mick.
Seriously, a passport is a much needed booklet to help you travel and enjoy the beauty of His artistic hand. Our Lord created this beautiful Earth that we are on with picturesque scenery that changes from country to country and with people that are snowflakes, uniquely designed in His image. So, give me a G, give me an O and Let’s… GO!
