You hold Rainbow Promise in your tiny fist
A Pillar of Fire for our wanderlust
Light in our darkness
Celestial Starlight
Heaven cracked open
Unspeakable Joy
Emmanuel

God-child, Mine
Baby –new freshness, no longer despondency
Delight for delusion
Made flesh not confusion
Kindness not wrath
Freedom from duty of Death
Eternity set, like a watch, in our hearts
And our hearts will be restless until…
Emmanuel

And can it be,
God in our skin?
A baby bulb, to light the whole world
Will there be room for Him?

Holy child, made of dust
You wear a Golden Crown, bejeweled with the lost
Word spoken
Light ignited
Faith–kindling Fire
Shekinah Glory
