To camp in the wilderness
As the comforts
Of one's homeland
Remain unknown
And physical security
Seems to elude one's face...
Would it be that
This is the only way
That the rebellious spirit
Can come to know God's
Grace...
What must it be like
To have only manna
For one's nourishment
Provided by Our Heavenly
Father
And to learn the manner
Of acceptance
In this troubled space...
Perhaps it would be
The triumph
Of the traveler
To never words
Of thankfulness waste...
What would it be like
To keep silent
In the travil
In which the one
Who camps beyond
The zone of comfort
And a place to rest
In ease...
It may be that
The wayward pilgrim
In him nomadic style
Would discover
That in acceptance
In thankfulness
As well as in obedience --
That this is how
God they do please...
Could the wayward
Traveler come to know
That it is only
In obedience
That they will learn
That it is so --
It is so
That only in OBEDIENCE
That they will reach
The promised land
By God's grace
And direction by
His holy hand...
Perhaps the pilgrim
Will find inner peace
When they learn
To relinquish all
Their strivings
And live in thankfulness
That their troubles
They will release...
Could it be
That learning to rest
In the wilderness
When all does
Seem to be in vain
That then and only then
They will discover
The blessings of God's
Rain...

Will find inner peace

To relinquish all
Their strivings...
That was awesome.
