heaven and earth for all to adore.
Provided homes for life and for shelter
to keep us cool when temperatures swelter
Some people venture out to earn a living wage
but soon return to abide in their cage.
Some enjoy God’s work in the garden or the park
see the bird fly , a tiny bug or hear a dog bark.
Pretty flowers are around to brighten our day
take time to smell a rose on you busy way.
There are those who make the most of the greater outdoors
with fishing and swimming and boats which require oars.
They forgo the humble abode for pitched tents
Living off the land and enjoying natures natural scents
Camping is a pleasure and even a joy
to live in what God created perhaps better than a toy
Around the camp fire you will hear the night sounds
Quite different than the roar of a car or bus normal day sounds.
Being closer to nature is being closer to God
Be it camping or fishing or breaking a gardens sod
