Come over here boy
Let me tell ya something
about life.
It'z aint pretty I tell ya
It ain't
Long road I’ve walked
and many day’s I scratched
my head.
While my feet uh rested.
Wondering why life is the
way it is.
Ever contemplate on why the
road that God has set for you
so hard?
I tell you
Cause its never meant to be easy.
Life is full of trials and struggles.
Once you climb on mountain
you’ll never stay up there fo long.
Un uh boy.
You’ll roll down straight into
a valley.
Then you have to climb up again,
to reach his glory.
Feel that peace inside you been
waiting for.
(mmhmm)
That’s why so many people are lost
And quit cause they don’t have
the will and determination.
To over come all thems obstacles.
Instead of frettin on what lays ahead
trust in thy Lord.
For he’s the one who will see you
through.
Praise Jesus
Cause he will give you the strength
to over anything.
Cause his love out shines any darkness
that lay over you.
Or even consumes you.
Listen now cause I’m tellin you the
truth.
Listen to this old wise man
Learn from what I’m telling you
cause thing will fall right into place.
Praise Jesus
May forever lasting love be with you boy.
