Topic: Mother (as in maternal parent) (04/24/08)
Brenda’s baby was born in the third week of the month of May
It was a golden morning; Heaven smiled on Nebraska that day.
She was the first of four blessings, her mother and father received
She was very special; the only princess the young mother conceived.

Brenda’s baby was loved absolutely- her family made sure she understood.
They raised her with discipline, charity, and faith, as Christian families should.
She grew up in wisdom, knowledge, and beauty; maturing in God’s grace
She was adored by her family and lived her life pleasing, before God’s face.

Brenda’s baby grew into a passionate woman; working hard towards her dreams.
Compassion, devotion, consistency, and integrity proved to be her life’s themes.
She was loyal to her friends – though not too many of them remained loyal to her.
She was devoted to those around her, devotion that none of truly deserved.

Brenda’s baby is a treasure that most don’t understand and certainly don’t see.
I saw her priceless worth quickly, and soon she became a treasure to me.
She shared the wealth of her presence; making me feel free, as if I could fly.
She and I committed our love and life to each other, ten years ago in July.

Brenda’s baby has continued to make me happier with every single passing day.
I am blessed to have married the first blessing God sent to Brenda and Ray.
My life has so much more purpose, because of this amazingly wondrous lady.
She’s my wife, my friend, my love, and an incredible mother too.
And I’ll always thank God for blessing me…
