Whenever you reflect on a piece of art, whether it is a sculpture or painting, there is a point behind making the piece of art. What makes it beautiful is the different perspectives people use when trying to grasp the point the author is conveying. God does this when He designs us. Scripture says He made us in His image and in His likeness and He was pleased with the work He finished.
Do we frown at the painting because it is an expression, or because we cannot wrap our perspective to understand the artist? Many of us have complained about being made the way we are and miss the overall meaning. We were made to be unique, just as every painting isn't the same we are a work of art, from the Creator's hands. We were made to be who we are for a reason and instead of hiding behind who we are maybe if we try changing our perspective we can accept ourselves for who God made us to be. Art is made to be appreciated and to convey a certain point. I feel God made us to love His gift not throw it away. God's work is priceless and when we understand this we can begin to understand ourselves.
